Summary
Driving forward innovative projects that apply artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to senior care, with the goal of improving quality of life (QOL), monitoring wellbeing, and enabling early intervention through smart technologies.
Key Experience
- AI-based behavioral monitoring:
Verified a simplified model in which daily activities and moods of elderly individuals are captured via cameras at the site, sent to a cloud-based AI through a REST API, and the analysis results are logged as text for automatic recording and anomaly detection.
- Data-driven health & wellness analytics:
Tested the feasibility of analyzing indoor daily activity patterns primarily through audio, converting them to text, and recording changes in these patterns to detect periods of inactivity or other anomalies. Although similar systems exist, this approach is characterized by its focused and lightweight processing.
- Seamless integration with call centers and family support:
The next phase involves building workflows that automatically connect seniors to human operators or family members when anomalies are detected, with the aim of further enhancing senior care and monitoring. (Details to be finalized after consultation with partners.)
Notable Projects
- Proof-of-concept: AI camera-based senior activity monitoring and reporting system
(Also participated in development reviews of wearable IoT products by other companies and have a solid understanding of real-world challenges.)
What I can deliver
- Planning and design of AI/ML-driven senior care solutions
- System integration (edge devices × cloud × analytics platforms)
