Developed and delivered a UNIX client-server monitoring system for Japanese power utilities, running on IBM UNIX servers and Toshiba mainframes with UNIX Solaris. The system acquires real-time vibration data from power plant pumps via analog-to-digital conversion, processes signals using high-speed FFT on DSPs, and transmits the results to local servers. Historical data and diagnostic results, generated by state assessment algorithms, are visualized on client HMI machines using intuitive alarm maps (green for normal, red for abnormal), helping operators to detect, predict, and respond to equipment issues. Responsible for project management, software development, technical proposals, and on-site delivery.
